I have been sewing for over four decades. I have always enjoyed the creativity and beauty that comes from creating something for someone else to wear. My sewing experience includes creating costumes for theatrical performances, historical period garments, formal wear and everyday basic apparel. I love to find inspiration in colors, movies and theatrical sets and use that inspiration to create custom dresses and apparel that fit your own unique personality.
Definitely Di was born out of my love of the style of the late 1950s and early 1960s. I wanted to create custom dresses like in the movies but that are tailored to fit the fashion minded individuals of today. I am proud to provide quality one of a kind garments using mostly American made fabrics and embellishments. All dresses are made to your specific measurements so they fit you and your personality beautifully.
